How do I hard-refresh my browser cache?
How do I hard-refresh my browser cache?

If the application does not behave as expected, a hard refresh of the locally cached application assets can help.

Updated over a week ago

To speed up loading time, certain website assets are stored on server caches around the world and also locally in your browser cache.

Sometimes, in connection to server deployments, a mismatch between the cached data and the central server data can occur, which can result in unwanted behaviour of the application.

In these cases, it is required to clear the local cache. A refresh is usually done automatically every couple of days, but sometimes a manual refresh is required.

To initiate a manual refresh, use these short-codes while viewing the page, depending on your operating system and browser:

Browser

Windows

Mac

Chrome

  1. Hold down Ctrl and click the Reload button.

  2. Or, hold down Ctrl and press F5.

  1. Hold ⇧ Shift and click the Reload button.

  2. Or, hold down ⌘ Cmd and ⇧ Shift and then press R.

Firefox

  1. Hold down Ctrl and press F5.

  2. Or, hold down Ctrl, ⇧ Shift and press R.

  1. Hold down the ⇧ Shift and click the Reload button.

  2. Or, hold down ⌘ Cmd and ⇧ Shift and then press R.

Safari

-

Hold down ⌘ Cmd and Option and then press E.

Edge

  1. Hold down Ctrl and click the Reload button.

  2. Or, hold down Ctrl and press F5.

Hold down ⌘ Cmd and ⇧ Shift and then press R.

This should usually resolve issues related to the local cache. If you still experience problems, please try to visit the page in an incognito / private window or completely clear your browsing data. If the problem still persists, reach out to our support.
